Procurement and Logistics
Streamlining Supply Chains, Powering South Sudan's Growth and Development.
Overview
The Procurement and Logistics Certificate Program at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) is a specialized program designed to produce skilled professionals who can efficiently manage the flow of goods, services, and information across supply chains. In a nation like South Sudan, where infrastructure development, humanitarian aid, and commercial trade are critical to economic growth, the demand for competent procurement and logistics practitioners is immense.
This comprehensive certificate program covers the entire spectrum of procurement and logistics functions, including supply chain management, public procurement procedures, inventory control, warehousing, transportation management, customs and clearing, contract administration, and supplier relationship management. The curriculum is designed to bridge theory and practice, with a strong emphasis on ethical procurement practices, cost efficiency, and timely delivery—principles that are essential for both the public and private sectors in South Sudan.
Students gain practical skills in tendering processes, purchase order management, logistics planning, and supply chain optimization. The program also introduces students to South Sudan's procurement laws and regulations, preparing them to navigate the complexities of government contracting and donor-funded projects.
