Overview

The Diploma in Computer Engineering at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) equips students with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, software, and communication networks. The programme combines computer science with electronics and engineering principles to prepare graduates for careers in today's technology-driven world.

Students gain hands-on experience in computer hardware, software development, embedded systems, networking, digital electronics, microprocessors, cybersecurity, and systems maintenance through laboratory work, practical projects, and industry-oriented training.

Eligibility

1. Hold the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum overall score of 50%, including passes in Mathematics, Physics, and English.
2. Hold the East African Certificate of Secondary Education (EACSE) or another recognized equivalent qualification.
3. Mature entry applicants may be admitted in accordance with the College's Mature Entry Admission Policy.
4. Applicants with international qualifications recognized by the relevant education authorities are also eligible for admission.

Note: Applicants may be required to present original academic certificates and transcripts during admission and registration.
