Overview
The Diploma in Pharmacy at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) prepares students with the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and professional ethics required to support the safe and effective use of medicines. The programme combines classroom instruction with laboratory practicals and clinical exposure to equip graduates for careers in hospitals, community pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare facilities, NGOs, and public health institutions.
Students gain hands-on experience in pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, dispensing, drug storage, pharmaceutical chemistry, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, patient care, and medicine management. The programme emphasizes patient safety, ethical practice, and quality healthcare service delivery.
Things You Need to Know

1. Hold the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum overall score of 50%, including passes in Biology, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics.
2. Hold the East African Certificate of Secondary Education (EACSE) or another recognized equivalent qualification.
3. Mature entry applicants may be admitted in accordance with the College's Mature Entry Admission Policy.
4. Applicants with international qualifications recognized by the relevant education authorities are also eligible for admission.
Note: Applicants may be required to present original academic certificates, transcripts, and meet any regulatory requirements before admission.
