Overview
The Diploma in Information Technology at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) prepares students with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to succeed in today's rapidly evolving digital world. The programme combines theoretical learning with hands-on practical experience in computer systems, networking, software applications, databases, cybersecurity, web development, cloud computing, and IT support.
Students learn to design, implement, maintain, and secure information systems while developing critical problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. The programme prepares graduates for careers in government institutions, NGOs, private companies, educational institutions, financial organizations, telecommunications, and technology firms.
Things You Need to Know

1. Hold the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum overall score of 50%, including a pass in Mathematics and English.
2. Hold the East African Certificate of Secondary Education (EACSE) or another recognized equivalent qualification.
3. Mature entry applicants may be admitted in accordance with the College's Mature Entry Admission Policy.
4. Applicants with international qualifications recognized by the relevant education authorities are also eligible for admission.
Note: Applicants may be required to present original academic certificates and transcripts during admission and registration.
