Overview
The Diploma in Computer Engineering (Hardware) at St. Barnabas Business College (STBBC) prepares students with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required to install, maintain, repair, and optimize computer hardware systems and ICT infrastructure. The programme combines engineering principles with practical laboratory training to equip graduates with the competencies needed to support modern computing environments.
Students gain practical experience in computer assembly, hardware troubleshooting, motherboard and processor technologies, networking equipment installation, operating systems, peripheral devices, electronics, preventive maintenance, and ICT infrastructure management. Graduates are well prepared to meet the growing demand for skilled hardware professionals in government institutions, private companies, telecommunications, educational institutions, NGOs, and technology service providers.

1. Hold the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum overall score of 50%, including passes in Mathematics, Physics, and English.
2. Hold the East African Certificate of Secondary Education (EACSE) or another recognized equivalent qualification.
3. Mature entry applicants may be admitted in accordance with the College's Mature Entry Admission Policy.
4. Applicants with international qualifications recognized by the relevant education authorities are also eligible for admission.
Note: Applicants may be required to present original academic certificates and transcripts during admission and registration.
